It doesn't matter how old you are, there's nothing worse than a squishy vinyl toilet seat — outside of natural disasters and the un-human amount of plastic surgery Joan Rivers has undergone. Make a tiny hiney a bit more comfortable with this pint-sized bamboo version instead.
Potty training can be a bore, a chore or even a blast depending on your child and how excited you are to get them out of diapers.
Most kid-sized toilet seats come adorned with your favorite cartoon character and don't offer much in the way of aesthetics, though they usually have a woosh of air each time a tiny tush sets down to (hopefully) do their business.
If you're not into plush character based seats, check out this bamboo version that comes with minimal packaging and can be cleaned and stored between potty training times and children. They're available from Growing Up Green for $15.99. It fits standard bowls as well as elongated ones to ensure happy customers all around.

love it!
pretty neat. i just wish there was a little portable potty like it!
I own a home child care and use the flip and flush. It attaches to the toilet and flips down for use. Super convenient. I'd love a bamboo flip and flush. I don't like the kind that you take off and on because, where do you store it when it's not in use? Usually under or beside the toilet and it's just cleaner flipped up.
We actually bought two of those seats! One for our upstairs "family" bathroom, which is really only used for bathtime and middle of the night (and we take that one along when we travel), and one that we leave at my parents house all time.
We are so happy with it. No crazy cartoon characters, easy to use and lug around, super easy to clean, and it fits on nearly every seat we've encountered.
I saw this at BRU when I was shopping for my sons potty seats several months ago.
I really wanted it because it wasn't plastic and it was nicer looking but I opted for the baby bjorn seat instead. I'm so glad I did. This seat has no higher piece for little boys and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt if I had gotten this one I would spend my days cleaning pee up off the floor.
I also prefer the baby bjorn since it secures onto the toilet so it doesn't wiggle around. My son gets really freaked out whenever he uses another over the toilet one because its shifts underneath him as he sits.
