We first fell in love with Suzannah Bierwirth’s Lincoln Park rowhouse when it was featured in the last issue of Blueprint magazine two years ago. Thankfully, the entire tour of the Binth cofounder's home is now online at Martha Stewart, where we can easily (and repeatedly) reference it for stylish ideas and inspiration.
Bierwirth modernizes her 1879 home by balancing unique finds—such as a hamster cookie jar in the kitchen—with a blend of furniture styles ranging from Stickley to Eames. Although each of the three floors is only 500 square feet, smart color choices and a restrained hand in decorating make them appear much larger.

I love the idea of stacked books as a coffee table! Thanks for the tip.
