Most of us can manage a bold accent wall, a brightly colored couch or even a playful piece of furniture. But it takes a pro to succeed in using just about every color in the rainbow (while pulling it off effortlessly). Suzie works in the design field where being creative is second nature--let's look at how that translates at home.
No color is off limits (purples, reds, greens and pinks) and because of this--each space feels alive and upbeat. In one bedroom, a brightly colored floral and bird wallpaper is on view. Instead of going monochromatic with the bedding, Suzie incorporates red and white with a textured rug as a topper. The entire scene feels candy coated and playful. Our favorite color combos are the teal wall (with IKEA frame to match) and green vanity vignette. We would never think to pair a bold teal wall with a brown shade but think that it balances the spot nicely. And while red and green are usually reserved for holiday decor, Suzie uses the two colors as a backdrop to display her multi-colored jewelry collection. We're following up with Suzie in hopes that she'll open her fun home to a full house tour in the coming weeks!
