We've never seen floating gardens before, but we stumbled upon the Landskrona, Sweden Garden Guild contest. Every August, contestants build little garden environments on a raft. And while you might not have your own moat, we could see these mini gardens as inspirations for a patio or a small yard.

THAT'll keep squirrels away!
I know it sounds cliched, but these are just enchanting.
I love EVERYTHING about the second one. The dark/black planters and screen, the nice grass, the white furniture and the gorgeous pops of pink. (oh those Hydrangeas!!!)
Superb!
So cool.
I love these!
I am so in love with these!!!!
I've never seen one of these before, but I am totall sold and am now committed to making one for my small pond!
I love this! It would be the best spot for reading a book and having naps on in summer....oooh, I wish!
Whodda thunk? I love the Internet.
Wouldn't that be cool for a little tête à tête amoureux?
But could a person or two actually sit on these? And Huckleberry Finn about without capsizing?
That's a first for me. I would have never thought of that. It's pretty cool, though. The first thing I thought, that is a great spot for a simple wedding...the bride and groom exchanging vows on the floating garden, getting there by row boat. Of course, weather permitting and making sure the float was very stable, it would be different. All the guests would be watching at the edge of the pond.
I simply love these!!
