It's days like these, when my house is a mess and there are a million chores to be done, when I love to browse through beautiful, clean Swedish homes. Dazzling in white with simply-sealed hardwood floors, this rustic yet chic home is actually up for sale!

I love love Swedish design both the old and modern.
One thing I always notice, I guess nobody makes beautiful bathroom tiles in Europe. I often see these beautiful European houses with bathrooms with ugliest tiles.
+1 on the tile choices!
I don't like this place at all but I am not a fan of old/decaying/shabby look so I guess it's just not for me.
Those floors are perfection. I love this entire space
Love the fireplace/stove. Who makes it?
Love the bench at the foot of the bed. Also, lets not generalize about tiles in Europe. Some of the most beautiful tiles in the world come from countries in Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, etc.) and there are many examples of them being used in bathrooms.
wow - what a wonderful rustic feel!
Exactly Aninhas! When I think about beautiful tiles I instantly think Italy.
I really love the look of the worn wood ceiling beams. Very charming - and how coincidental Ive only just posted on my own blog about Scandinavian Design. http://www.designgratislondon.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/catalonia-meets-scandinavia.html
Great minds think alike!
@ Sundayblossom, the fireplace is something very common in old scandinavian houses. They are usually original to the house but some brands do make new versions too, I guess.. :)
