- What I Love About My Small Home:
- In a city like Phoenix, known more for sprawl and not density, my view is rare. I never get sick of it!
- Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space
- Finding ways to extend the living space. My balcony spans the length of my unit, so once I added some lounge seating and a dining table outside, I found that I felt much less confined in my small space. Plus, taking advantage of the nice weather in Arizona is always important!

So many entries with carpet this year! Loving it!
Nice, feels like a happy place to come home to.
Fantastic place! I love all of the color, & the view from your apartment is just spectacular. I would love to have a balcony where I could have a glass of wine after work or host dinner parties for friends ... maybe my next apartment (sigh). I would love to see a house tour of your place.
I LOVE the wall color!
I like that yellow table!
love the balcony/deck......................the view! Your place is cool!
the very definition of "sunny & breezy"--just darling. and I love that groovy floor lamp in the corner. what a find.
Great space, and yes to carpet! I'm trying to work around a new place with wall to wall beige stuff... nice, comfortable, but a bit it impedes the "elegance and whimsy" thing, it seems so suburban. Tabitha definitely manages to energize and glam it up! Would love to see a photo of the bedroom. Nice space.
Tabitha, that color is radiant (and I want it!!)--could you share what it is?
I covet the size of the pantry most, and I like the colors.
I love the couch. I have the same one and I am DYING to purchase that slip cover for it. I love it I love it I love it!
Really nice apartment. I love how you put your dining table outside! I just wish I could have seen pictures of the bedroom and kitchen too. House tour maybe?
i love this! it's the exact color i want my room, with those little pink details, just my kind of palette!!!!! This is gorgeous, favorite!
Am I seeing this right, or is the ceiling green? The wall/ceiling colors are not my personal preference, but am really loving the outdoor patio at night!
Lovely use of color!
Really nice apartment from what I can tell, however, I would have liked to see more than just one of the indoor rooms, since there are three others we don't see...
In keeping with the comment policy, I'd like to say that I like the blue, the yellow, and the couch. I am a little perplexed by the black chair, and the lack of pictures of the other rooms. I can't really get a sense of the overalls space, but I am impressed with the bold color choice.
What is the color on your walls? I love it!
Wow, it's really bright!
Love that view! I probably would spend all my time on the patio if I had your place.
i love it! it lookssuperchic and real at the same time!
I love the view from your balcony!
Thanks!
MERA and LEX2190- The color is a custom mix by Dunn-Edwards. I carried around paint chips for weeks trying to find the right color. :) I can give you the formula when I get home though!
Your place rules!!!
Love the color courage and femininity without being precious!
I do hope you'll post it here because I'm absolutely in LOVE with the color! ♪ I settled with the closest thing I could find to it from Benjamin Moore, but I would be so happy to repaint my kitchen with this! It looks absolutely perfect. Love your submission~
The best views in this contest. Chic, bright.
So glad to see some COLOR!!!
Beautiful view....Ahhhh
Where did you get the spectacles on the coffee table! So cute!
I HAVE to know - where did the couch and office desk come from? Love your space!
Was there a condo remodel of another apartment in your building on AT recently? The balcony looks the same.
Spot on gorgeous taking full advantage of the spectacular view and the bright cheerful colour makes it a happy place indeed!
Mhavertj- The spectacles are from Pottery Barn. KacieFrazier, the couch and office desk are IKEA!
The color is mostly Aqua Bloom by Dunn-Edwards: http://www.color-swatches.com/dunn-edwards/aqua-bloom/791/swatch.html
Well said Jessoutofwater! Love the floor lamp. Makes me miss Arizona!
Favorite! I love the wall color, the happy vibe...and that balcony!! Way to work with what nature and circumstance have given you.
Cheerful!
I LOVE the Arizona print on the wall. Where is it from? I'm an AZ native that's been away for over 3 years and I miss the heck outta the valley! I'd love to hang some hometown art in my house!
@Miss Upsetter- The print is by Aaron Draplin, designed for when he gave a talk at ASU. Not hometown, but he does a good job, I think: http://www.draplin.com/1998/01/ddc058_always_arizona_poster.html
If you want "hometown" art check out Jason Hill on Etsy. He does great Phoenix-based art:http://www.etsy.com/people/JasonHillDesign OR Jon Ashcroft on Society6.
the view is priceless...
Tabitha! Thank you for the resources - I GREATLY appreciate it!! :)
Gorgeous aqua color - love it!
kitchen? bedroom? bathroom?
Nice view and awesome balcony.
The color is beautiful, but I fear it would be too distracting to do anything in those rooms! the way you decorate around it makes it pop out even more!
