While we often advocate for incorporating pieces of furniture into your home that bring lots of interest and personality, sometimes you have a room that could benefit from sophistication and grace — the kind that a good, sturdy tailored sofa can provide. Tailored is one of those words that we think means a lot to different people. As it should. “Tailored” can fit in with a lot of different styles because it usually represents something that has an elegant feel to it. Something that has clean lines; an “unfussy” look. Sometimes boxy, oftentimes with firm cushions, tailored doesn’t designate a certain color or pattern, but it does infuse interiors with a lot of sophistication. Need proof? We found ten recent house tours sporting tailored sofas, and you can see for yourself how elegant they make each space: Top Row: 1) Sharon & Chris' Monochrome Wonder 2) Suki's Gem On The Hill 3) Michael's "Comfortable Modern" Rowan Building Loft 4) Jason & Marisa's Wonderfully Woodsy Dallas Home 5) Danielle's Small Modern Cottage Bottom Row: 6) Andrew & John's Vintage Berwyn Bungalow 7) Lisa's Stylish Downsizing Story 8) The Las Vegas Home of MadeByGirl's Jen Ramos 9) Joanna & Gerry Collectively Maximize Their Small Space 10) Dana & Steve's Sunny Southern Craftsman Images — 1: Jill Slater; 2: Alysha Findley; 3: Evan Koester; 4: Jason Jameson; 5: Bethany Nauert; 6: Jason Loper; 7: Lisa; 8: Jen Ramos; 9: Beth Bates; 10: Steve Pomberg
