OMG! Talk about memories. We had the cube calendar when I was kid. You can barely see it on the upper right hand corner of this photo, on top of our fridge:

I enjoyed this post. Who made the chairs in the lead-in picture? They're interesting.
The cube calendar belongs to a genre called perpetual calendars. These can be extremely fascinating. In the 1920s, they were common in banks as cylinders in which you turned knobs on both ends to register the day of the week and the month.
My father had a great collection of small perpetual calendars. New varieties are still being made.
I love that orange desk calendar!
Man, that orange phone is to DIE for...
Thanks for featuring us - my favourite perpetual calendar that we've got in stock is this vintage orange one!

Alex,
That photo is beautiful.
I run into the best ever vintage accessories (namely a phone and an alarm clock) in the hotel where I was staying while in Budapest...they were so nice I almost wanted to ask them if I could take them!

70s design and fashion is so porn. Apparently it's coming up as a trend again?
OMG - this is my childhood. I wasn't surprised at all to see where this company is based! How many items on this website did we have in my home as I was growing up.
Now I think I'm in the wrong business.
I remember the best phones in the Soviet Union; purple really heavy plastic handsets. Like old Bell phones, but 70's EuroMod...
Thanks for the post. You may also look Ballard Designs to see quality desk accessories. I bought all of my desk accessories from them.
