Within about a week I'll finally get to meet a new little nephew, and as a result I have babies on the brain. In looking through images of nurseries online (as design-obsessed almost aunts are wont to do), I came across many that appealed to me as a twenty-something adult.

The colors, artwork, and fabric used in many of these rooms means the spaces will transition well as the kids grow older. The light colors serve as a neutral backdrop to changing furniture and accessories. The saturated color in Image 3 is very grown-up but still fun for a baby boy's room, and the wallpaper in Image 10 uses pattern in a fun and clever way.
