Friday, June 23 is Take your Dog to Work Day.
We usually focus on the animal inhabitants of your home in July, but we didn't want this one to get by us.
Besides, it might be therapeutic for your dog to get out of your apartment.
The annual doggie event is in its eighth year and is apparently a huge success:
"Dogs go to work. Hearts are touched. And as a result, homeless dogs will be adopted. PSI’s Take Your Dog To Work Day is the day for dogs."
Details here.

We have a company dog belonging to our COO.
Brooks, the COD (Chief Operating Dog) is in the office every day.
Our Pet Day coincides with Halloween. I am still waiting for someone to bring in their cat.
What's the company in Marin County that lets workers bring their animals to work every day? The animals have to behave, but I heard it was dogs and cats both.
Wende - Not sure, but it sounds great! I have a coworker here who worked for an ad agency in NYC and was moved to their SF office where they had a open pet policy as well.
I also just read in British Vogue that it's the same (for dogs) at the HQ for Anthropologie/Urban in PA.
These are the things I will look for when I am hunting for my next job and I know better.......
Ah!!!!!!!the guilt!!!!
I am stuck on the road for work. My dog is in the care of my dogsitter until Monday. Sigh.
