A couple weeks back we made mention of converting those digital photo memories into something more material, using a service Pinstagram. One of the options we liked was printing out Instagram images into Miniprints, card stock photos prints with matte finish that look like Polaroids. And now we think we've found an inspiring way to display your memories, by way of blogger, Talia van der Wel of New Zealand...
With nothing but a weather wooden frame made from a salvaged lattice, some nails, string, and clothespins, Talia's husband created a picture perfect display for their family of three. And of course, one neither needs Polaroids or Instagram converted images to mimic this effect; all you'll need is a photo printer and smaller 4"x6" format images (just trim off the sides for squares).
It's surely one of the most thoughtful and lovely DIY photo projects we've seen, and now we feel inspired to search the next time we're at an architectural salvage yard for a piece to use in similar fashion. More photos of Talia's "Once Upon A Time..." photo frame at Talia Christine Blogspot.
