DIY is all the rage. It's easy to save a few bucks by taking on small home tasks yourself. But when you wanna be just a little lazy—or your skills are seriously non-existant—sometimes it's worth paying somebody else to take care of your tasks without screwing it up.
Kotaku picked up word that Target will begin offering an in-home video game console setup service.
A Target representative will come to your house or apartment, connect your console to your TV and set up parental controls, wireless network connectivity and any online accounts, all for $99.
Ok, so for you tech-savvy Unplggd readers, this might be simple stuff. But you might just want to pass the news on to Mom, Dad and Grandma before they rack their brains trying to set up the now-popular-with-the-geriatric-set Nintendo Wii.

i agree. this "service" is a complete ripoff...
I think this is a great idea for someone like my mom or grandma (as the post states). Living 600 miles from my family, I'm not always around to help them with their 'problems.' If they want to pay a professional to do these mundane services for them, I say...more power to them. Setting up cable, internet or even a Playstation is not easy for everyone.
