Trash Bags by Adrian Kondratowicz

Pink, polka-dotted, and now available to the public, Adrian Kondratowicz's biodegradable bags will keep your nosy neighbor talking well after trash day.

Hoping to draw attention to environmental awareness, the artist partnered with local businesses, and the bags dotted New York City streets this summer in an art installation entitled, "Trash: Any Color You Like."

The bags, which are also scented to be vermin-repellent are now available at Cite, with more colors and sizes are coming this Spring.

i love this. because the bags cost more and look pretty, it's one more reason to think before filling them up and throwing them out so quickly.

Interesting.... We already have patterns on paper towels, why not trashbags?

love the idea, but I can't afford to *literally* throw my money away.

also on the site: a reusable shopping bag with "shoplifter" written in big, bold print. I find this hilarious because I saw someone actually argue against people bringing their own bags to shop because it would increase shoplifting. unbelievable.
