Name: Tasha
Location: Richmond, Virginia — Woodland Heights Neighborhood
Our home is 100 years old this year, but it was completely re-done just before we bought it last year. It is the best of both worlds — traditional and contemporary elements tied together by color.
As a professional craftsperson, I tend to let form follow function in my design. Our house is furnished in a style that is comfortable and attractive in a down-to-earth sort of way. Lots of shelving for pottery, walls filled with art and lots of seating since we like to entertain.
Thanks Tasha!

And yet another YAY for Richmond!!!
Love the style, and especially the wall color in the dining area. I'm looking to paint my dining room and would love to know details about the shade!
what up rva
Nice. Your bathroom tiles would SING if you were to paint it the same color as the living room.
Looks like a nice place. Love the batik (right?) linens in the kitchen and really love the long bench in the bathroom.
So happy to have our house on Apartment Therapy!
The Kitchen is 'Perfect Storm' and the bedroom is 'Homestead Resort Par Sage' both are Valspar brand. The batiks in the kitchen are from: http://margotbianca.etsy.com
The trees in the bedroom are a folding screen I made out of plywood when I was 14 or 15 years old - with my Dad's guidance.
