Tastebook from Epicurious

If you've got a foodie on your gift list--or you are one yourself--you might want to check out the Tastebook from Epicurious. You can create a customized cookbook with up to 100 recipes from Epicurious or ones you add yourself, and prices start at only $35 for a completely customized, hard cover book.

Although we haven't seen one of these in person, we think the Tastebook is a great idea and the photography adds a lot to the beauty of the process--and you can also add your own photos. You can start with a mix and add your own, or start from scratch entirely.

10 tabs come standard, and the book opens fully to lay flat, an obvious help to cooks. We didn't like that we had to view videos to learn more about the process, there wasn't any accompanying text. The 4 videos, although each less than 2 minutes, need to be viewed with speakers or headphones. However, from what we can tell, the process looks pretty easy and the website is nicely laid out.

Let us know if you've had any experience with the Tastebook!
