- Inspiration for my palette:
- The first pieces of furniture we bought for this room are the armchairs. We found them in a vintage furniture store in Montreal and loved their color and how comfortable they were. The rest of the room developed around them.
- Colors used in my room
- The walls are a neutral grey (Benjamin Moore Storm) that contrasts nicely with the bright tangerine and blue furniture.
- Tips for using color successfully
-
Use colors you love and don't be afraid of bright, bold color. If you love it you won't get tired of it!

Love tangerine! where is that white wall planter from??? Thanks!
I just adore these colors! And the vintage furnishings are awesome too -- very inspirational!
Good use of color! Very nice!
Does anyone know where this couch is from? I love the shape and size!
The wall planter looks like it might be the Urbio wall planter, which was a successful Kickstarter project from 2011.

Those vintage chairs are FABULOUS! I love how you've built the room around them in a fun yet sophisticated way. Well done.
thanks everyone!
Reesespieces: the wall planter is indeed an Urbio wall planter.
jsprip: the couch is 7 years old and I can't remember who made it- sorry!
I love that wall planter. Urbio huh? I need to check them out. Great looking space.
I'd take Teal hands down over anything by the Novos.
Hear, hear, rmbnn!
With the rug, beautiful!
Great room!
Great colors for cold Vermont winters!
You have a great eye for design. I am going to keep these ideas to use in my own home. Thanks!
