Father's Day is just around the corner and we don't think we're too far off base to say that Dads dig sports.
Team Colors is a line of paint by Glidden that matches - to a tee - the colors of Pop's favorite team.

Glidden, partnering with Home Depot, lets us choose from hundreds of teams in the NFL, NHL, college football leagues, soccer, NASCAR, and even the U.S. Olympic team. We admit to not understanding the whole team obsession thing but we think this paint can be fun when used in moderation.
Check out Glidden's website to use their Team Colors Visualizer. It's an interactive tool which lets you test out your team colors in a specific room. Once you have your game plan, look into Glidden's Painting Tips, a good prep list for any paint project.

Did this post really need to be gendered?
I am honestly really appalled. One person in my household gets Sports Illustrated...and it's not my husband.
Horrid. Hurts my brain.
I think you are stretching it saying that this post is gendered. She's saying this might be a good possibility for FATHER'S Day. I dont know of a single female who is a father. Sometimes the recreational outrage around here is just ridiculous.
Dads dig sports? Is this Apartment Therapy or some horrible sitcom with Tim Allen?
Why did I click on this?
mary pat, this post didn't run in time for Mother's Day, though, did it? It was available at that time, so it could have. Based on that fact alone it is not farfetched at all to say this post is gendered. I won't deny that my reaction is knee-jerk, but I do not think what I'm expressing is recreational outrage. It's 2008, Title IX has been around for 36 years, this just doesn't make sense to me.
phoneill, I honestly don't mean any offense, but your post doesn't make any sense to ME. Wouldn't it be just as offensive if this post had been made for Mother's Day, saying that mother's are sports fans?
I've never gotten on the soapbox here at AT before and I probably shouldn't be now. These bloggers provide us with a wonderful website completely free of charge for us to enjoy and they're too often rewarded with criticism. It just got to me today.
"Why did I click on this?"
I thought the same thing. Sick fascination with horrible things I guess. Like when you can't peel your eyes away from a train wreck......
I got my fiance to agree that I can wear White Sox cuff links with my tux (they do match) ... I wonder if she would allow to paint the bedroom in Bears colors, too!
Like the paint, but two things I don't understand...
1. Why anyone would paint any room (even a child's) the exact replica of a team... there isn't any creativity for who you really are, IMHO.
2. Why all the bitching about this post?? Either read it or skip it. It's not like you've wasted a major piece of time by reading it.
