Tech Tip: Save Your Computer from the Firefox Hog

Firehog? That's what we would call Firefox. When checking into our computer's memory usage, we noticed it took up a good chunk of our system's memory. So, when we saw this guide on how to minimize Firefox's memory usage, we quickly took note. According to this guide, there are several things you should check in your browser that may help it be a little less memory intense. These include all of the the fun add-ons and themes we install; keep it to a minimum. These use memory when they are in use, so regularly weed out those extensions you haven't found useful. There are also two helpful tips on configuring Firefox to free up memory that doesn't need to be used when you are not in the browser.
