We don't know about all of you, but when we take vacations, we don't do the relaxing thing. We are always up and moving, trying to see sites and experience local culture whether we're in St. Louis or Spain. That's why we loved this travel tip from TiVo (by way of GeekSugar) that can help you kill time and plan a stellar itinerary for your trip...

TiVo's WishList feature lets you find and record TV shows and movies based on an advanced keyword search. You can easily set it to seek out programs based on your future destination to get the most out of your trip, plus give you some eye candy to get you psyched.

The cool part is the variety of programming you'll find. For our upcoming trip, we might not only find the Savannah, Georgia episode of Samanta Brown's Great Weekends (our Travel Channel guilty pleasure!), but also a TV airing of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," a movie set in Savannah that will show you some sites but also give you some history lessons. You'll practically be a local if you follow this tip!

If you have a TiVo but don't yet know how to use it, check out How to Create a TiVo WishList page on the TiVo site to get you started.
