When I'm out in the garage working on a project, I've usually got my iPhone connected to a circa 1994 Pioneer stereo and some old speakers that work, just not really well. Tunes are a good way to motivate yourself while you do something creative, and now Craftsman has a great option to not only store your tools, but also play your music - wirelessly.
It's called the Craftsman Contour Powered Series Tool Storage, and it's a traditional toolbox in the sense that it's got drawers, casters and, well, it holds tools. But it also has a middle section with two 220-watt speakers that can stream audio from your Bluetooth powered device, such as an iPod or iPhone (check out NotCot for some hands-on photos from CES).
Even if you're not a garage worker, there are still plenty of uses for a toolbox in the home. Buy two small lower cabinets, put a door on top and you've got an easily movable work surface or desk. Put a small cabinet in a corner and use it for crafting. Toolboxes don't have to stay in the garage, you just have to get creative with your options.
