Name: Teddy (2 weeks)
Location: Altoona, PA
We decided to do a "Little Man" theme for our son's nursery partly due to my husband's love of all things mustaches, and partly because he is named in part after Teddy Roosevelt, who is a relative on my husband's side.
The Jenny Lind crib is my husband's old baby crib, so I knew I would have yellow as an accent color and just really liked the color teal. I threw in a few orange pieces just to add some pops of color. The bow tie and mustache mobile was a pain to make, but I really loved how it turned out- the biggest problem was getting it balanced correctly. The dresser/changing table was a consignment store find that we painted white.
I wanted the nursery to still have a nursery feel, but still have the Little Man vibe. I added pictures of Theodore Roosevelt and our dog in a bow tie on the bookshelf for fun and had the name decal custom made from an Etsy shop. We really love how it turned out, and it was definitely worth all the work.
