When you're a teenager (and maybe a budding decorator), nothing's more thrilling than being able to express your style in the one space that is truly yours — your bedroom. I remember my room as being an enthusiastic, if not entirely coherent, mishmash of styles, but Caitlin Ballantyne, who is just 14, already has a bedroom that's magazine-worthy.
Caitlin's big sister is Marissa Waddell, who writes the design blog Roost, so it's clear that good taste runs in the family. Marissa snapped these photos while visiting her parents. She says about Caitlin's room: "She has the cutest style and her bedroom reflects it perfectly". I couldn't agree more.
See more photos of Caitlin's room on Marissa's blog.

Nomade Express Slee...
Yay! A kid's room that's not for babies.
Very cool room ! Congrats!
The high bed must make her feel like a queen.
Gorgeous! Definitely puts my 14-year-old self's bedroom (which was heavy on pin-ups of Corey Haim and River Phoenix ripped out of Tiger Beat) to shame!
I love those hanging elephant things. Would look so cute in my son's nursery!
Agreed, Kiana. Is there a how-to for the mobile?
Yes, I love the elephant thing. Would love to make one.
I forth that...Elephant tutorial please :)
