Okay, so there's a lot to discuss here, but first I need to know: what television home would you move into tomorrow, if rent and geography were no concern? Jess' rollerskating-ready New Girl loft? Tom Haverford's House O'Swag? The entire Downton Abbey? All of your friends could move in, too!

I know sometimes when I see a designer, like, stapling something together, I can't help but thing, "Sure that looks great with the camera 20 feet away, but what would it be like to live with it? How long will it last?"

Neal's apartment in White Collar is currently the most elegant flat on TV.
And, of course, all those Art Déco rooms (as well as Lady Agnès' clothes) on the new version of Upstairs Downstairs (which is bad, but not as bad as Downtown Abbey)
I agree with MaxB. I sometimes watch the show just to get glimpses of Neal's apartment! The wall of windows, the furniture, the palette. All of it is spot on!
I'd like to move into Dexter's apartment.
You are so right!
Dr Marta Shearing's house in The Bourne Legacy, sure it's a project even before being blown up but it is a beautiful house!
Leonard and Sheldon's apartment off Big Bang Theory. So much geekery!
My house is always 80 degrees as it is an upper floor apartment in a radiator building. Being in DC means I can't cool it much below that in summer either. I don't mind it but there is little call for blankets.
Sally Field's house in Brothers and Sisters would be my dream home.
I'm in love with the compound of Zeek and Camille Braverman on Parenthood. I mean, who wouldn't want to visit their home for the holidays? I just love it so much.
Re the Downton point... the interiors are real, and just wonderful in "real life". As an example.. The hallway "wallpaper" is actually antique spanish leather... the series is filmed just outside a market down in Berkshire called Newbury, in the house belonging to the current Earl of Carnavon (descendent of the British Earl who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun).
Emily Thorne's Hamptons beach house, on "Revenge"
The interior designers on Castle do an excellent job.
I love the Duncan's home on Disney's "Good Luck Charlie." It is bright, colorful, cheery and fun. And it looks as if 5 children live there without being out of control.
The show might be totally corny, but I love the kitchen in New Normal. It's done in an Arts and Crafts style with gorgeous Talevera tile from Mexico.
Ok it's a movie but the home that stole my soul is Diane Keaton's beach home from the movie,"Something's Got to Give". Sheer bliss.
1. the house in practical magic...the attic, kitchen and greenhouse esp!
2. mindy's apt in the mindy project
3. i second the braverman compound.
Yep. Everything at the braverman's place is California outdoors at its best. I would behapy to ive in the barn1
!
I'd say the mid-century modern ranch in Raising Hope. Love everything about it! And I love Patty Hewes's apartment & office from Damages.
Meryl Streep's character's home in -It's Complicated- before the redo. I'd visit Downton Abbey too. (-:
Does anyone know where to find Ann's bedroom wall metal art sculpture on parks and recreation?
