Hell yes! I am definitely going to try this -- maybe with some cotton fabric (t-shirts?) for the summer, when my vinyl chairs get unpleasantly sticky.

be careful when upholstering with fabrics that arent usually meant for it. t-shirt material and old sweaters will pill in no time...
