Name: Kipp (2)
Location: Australia
Color Inspiration: I love white, but felt I needed to use bursts of colour for a child's room otherwise they may go colour blind! So with white as my base I chose four accent colours that would be gender neutral- red, aqua, green and yellow and went from there.
Tip for Using Color: Rules were made to be broken. The old saying- 'Blue and green should never be seen' These two are my favourite colour combo and used throughout the rest of my house- along with white of course!
Colors Used: Haymes 'white wash'. It is a beautiful white, not to stark yet with no colour undertones.
Thanks for your colorful entry Jane and good luck!

How cool is that teepee!
love the owl quilt!
Fantastic little boy's room! Could you please tell me where the cowboy lamp is from?
i think it is the best i have seen! it's different and vey playful
Hi Sam- The lamp was actually given to Kipp as a present when he was born so I am not sure of where it is from. I have seen a similiar one in a mag from 'owls are hunting'
The lamp is going to be my inspiration for Kipp's big boy room with a cowboy and Indian theme!
The teepee, sweet little birdhouse, rocking moose and plantation shutters are killer. You managed a nice balance of sweet and playful touches while keeping it clean and simple. Well done!
This room looks amazing, such an inspiration for my little boy's bedroom! Thanks.
May I ask where did you get the white buffet from? I am looking for the exact same piece of furniture here in Sydney, but I haven't been able to so far...
Thanks a lot!
Severine
Thanks Severine-I bought the pine dresser form a furniture auction, painted it white and changed the handles. I know they have similar ones at Provincial Living- but a lot pricier! good luck
