Star Trek: Middle School Musical, Kid President, Don't Be a Glasshole, Tidal Wave Girls

Who needs cable when there are literally thousands of hours of video content uploaded to the internet every single day? Sure, there's a plethora of home movies and skateboard crash shots, but there are also plenty of other options available on YouTube and Vimeo that will make your heart skip and your lips turn upward into a smile. We share 10 of our recent favorites below...

Here's ten videos that premiered online this past week worth watching, sharing, and maybe even watching twice:

B-Girls: I have a feeling these two are going to have quite the dance career in front of them. Or mermaid career. Either way, the future is bright.

Star Trek: The Middle School Musical: The Middle School Musical: Before you go out to see the newest Star Trek movie this weekend, check out this adorable musical put on by a bunch of middle schoolers.

Tidal Wave Girls: This is actually a video I directed and released this week spotlighting the power of girls.

Don't be a Glasshole: I have to admit I'm amongst those skeptical about Google Glass, and this video illuminates the totally reasonable reasons to hold onto that skepticism.

Agents of Shield: If you loved The Avengers last summer, you'll be thrilled to see the Son of Coul is back in this trailer, with a release on Tuesday.

Mind-Bending Earth Time Lapse: Always wonder what global industrialization looks like? Or what expanded transportation? These maps will reveal an eye-opening perspective about the world we share.

What Your Body Does in 30 Seconds: Sounds gross, but is totally amazing.

Made By Hand: The Bike Maker: This series is really beautiful and highlights the power of making things on your own, in your own way.

An Open Letter to Moms from Kid President: Kid President knows best.

Sara Bareilles's Brave Music Video: We started with dancing, why not end on it too. There's something about watching other people dancing that can make my feet do a happy dance under my desk. I love how much fun everyone is having in this video.
