Having an item that is not restricted to one narrow use is always a good thing. Being able to make this item yourself on the cheap is even better. Having it smile at you, all day long? Best thing ever.

There is something so appealing about simple and useful ideas, and this one in particular makes us smile right back at it. Do It and How features this little guy holding all types of objects, from bottles to car keys. Whatever it is holding, it always looks like it enjoys the job.
While we think the rivet eyes are very alluring, drawn-on eyes or maybe some stick-on ones will no doubt work for those of us without a rivet gun. But if you have been on the fence about getting one, we can't think of a more convincing argument than this project.

Shaw's Original Fir...
That cracked me up!
This dude makes me super happy!
Ok. This is pretty darn cute.
Love. Think I'll put these in my son's closet.
Useful and amusing. Kudos.
This put a smile on my face. I'm afraid, though, the my ball-obsessive herding dog would sit and stare at it all day.
I'm torn between delight and dismay. I don't love it exactly, yet I am strangely drawn to the little fella :(
@Rural. LOL. I wonder how long it would take said herding dog to devise a way to get this little guy off the wall. :)
@RURAL AND RUEFUL Ha! That might be worth it.
Oh. My. Stars. I WANT him. Him and his brothers.
Like ruralandruefal, I'm afraid the ball-obsessed dogs would just sit and bark at it much like they do when a ball gets stuck under the couch and they can't reach it.
@Rural and Rueful, I was going to say the same thing. My dog would just sit and stare at those balls on the wall for hours.
I have been trying to figure out a cute idea for a hand towel holder in my bathroom and this is perfect.. I read the directions and it said you could stick a nail in the tennis ball to hold it to the wall. I don't really think you could get a hammer in the mouth to use a nail. Does anyone have any ideas how to mount the tennis ball on the wall?
The photos showed a suction cup attached to the back, nt sure how they attached it but i bet you could figure it out. The other way would be to screw it to the wall, using a long screwdriver inserted through the cut you make for the 'mouth'. Pre-drilling into the wall will make that a lot easier.
brilliant...and just too cute!!!!!
