Name:
Terri
Location:
Chicago, IL
Division:
Cool
Inspiration for my palette:
I need color around me at all times. Maybe to a fault, but white walls just make me anxious. The muted colors in this home (if you can call them that) are due to my husband's ability to pull me back from the brink of neon fields. This is what I call color compromise.
Colors used in my room:
BEHR: Serene Sky
VALSPAR SIGNATURE: Grape Purple
BEHR: Grape Green
Tips for using color successfully:
Don’t get too tied into limited colors, different colors in each room will help you avoid getting too sick of one combination. Spray paint can be your best friend, and helps you understand that no color is ever permanent. I also like to use white in furnishings and decor when I otherwise have huge fields of solid color on the walls.
