I love this, especially the highlighting of the doorframe and tile surround, and the inside of the cabinet ledge and I think the combination of colours is great for a bathroom.

.I love the bathroom, however, other than the towels, this does not fit into the colour contest at all...as there is no colour. Maybe FALL CURE??

i think this is a great room. i'm not sure it fits into the color contest, but maybe it does. i see it as a good example for people who aren't allowed to paint. they can bring in color w/ accessories. i would love to have that bathroom.

Agreeing w/the last two posters. Take away the towels and -- aside from the small green strip where the Q-tips and cotton balls reside -- it's a black and white room. A perfectly nice room, but not a "colorful" one.

Hi... I'm Tess.

This was my reaction to the onslaught of 'put as much color in the room as possible' entries. I designed this room around the 2 bright green framed photos, and yes, the only other pops of color are the towels (why shouldn't they count? they're always there), and the inside of the medicine cabinet. For such a tiny room, this was an exercise in a very restricted use of color. I firmly believe that sharp, small instances of color against a blank canvas can be the brightest, most severe ways to present color. This room is green... but that green is bright because of that very simplistic backdrop on which it is presented.

The competition is about how we use color... and this is how I've used it in such a tiny, little room.

I think this is gorgeous, and it's one of my favorite uses of color in the contest.

But I certainly agree that use of color can be far more effective than quantity.
