Here at Apartment Therapy, we spend a lot of time pondering the important stuff, such as: why are whales so friggin cute?
While you might describe an actual whale as "graceful" or "majestic", I'm pretty sure nobody who's ever seen a real live sperm whale has ever thought, "oh, how adorable!". Nevertheless, the gentle giants' (slightly abstracted) counterparts in the world of home decor are all cute as a button.

That tissue holder is adorable but I could not justify that price for a tissue holder however I understand the time and patience it takes. Ah shucks.
So this explains all the whales I was seeing on Etsy. Anyway, I love the butter dish! But it's too expensive for me at the moment.
