I don't know how it came about but I get emailed updates from AVGuide.com and read that article about amps a couple weeks ago. Some amazing equipment there.
I would love for someone to do an article on the 10 best vintage integrated amps for a beginner on a budget. For my money, the Marantz 1060 is where it's at. But I haven't dug too deep.

IMHO, the Jolida 102b is a great little tube amp (also have the new FX10 out now). For solid state, maybe the Rega Brio....great little polite brit amp.
