What does $2.5 million dollars get you when you want a unique home theater and also happen to love Pirates of the Caribbean? Wonder no longer, ya landlubber, the custom home theater design team of Elite Home Theater Seating is in the process of making someone's dream come true, complete with front facade entry, pirate ship deck seating and even a ship-tavern "onboard" for refreshments...
Our new "Theater of the Month" feature kicks off with our new "Pirate" themed design. The project is still currently under construction in Palm Beach, Florida. The theater complex is completely indoors and consists of an Entrance Area/Ticketing Booth which opens to the Pirate Tavern/Lobby, which overlooks the unique screening room that is situated on the simulated deck of a Pirate ship.
This isn't the first time Elite Home Theater Seating has created an over-the-top movie themed home theater. A few years back, they put together this home theater for a would-be Bruce Wayne:

Seriously this is what people spend 2.5 million dollars on.... Yes, I guess we are all going to hell in a handbasket....
if you've got the money... :) Think about it this way though, that's 2.5 million dollars put back into the economy
So do you have to design a home theater for each movie you watch. It must be odd watching an Apatow or Scorcese movie in a pirate ship themed room.
"Honey let's watch 'True Grit'."
"Sorry, it's not a pirate movie."
It isn't strange for the pirates watching the Apatow and Scorecese movies on their ships! :)
Finally, a look inside Michael Bolton's home theater!
At long last, confirmation. The rich and I have absolutely nothing in common.
I really love the Pirates ride and the movies (1st and 4th). What would make this theater really great would be if they had animatronics like the ride.
Now, for the 2.5 million dollar budget, holy cow! If I were to do something like this I would do a lot of DIY. Odds are I could do something almost as good for 1/100th the price.
To everyone who hates this, I'm sure there's something out there you love that other people would hate to have in their home. I like a little Disney in the home, just as long as I have no plans to sell the place. You'll never see a return on investment on theaters as custom as these.
