All it takes to win us over, is an extra practical product that transforms with your child and looks great while doing it. We don't need crazy decals or cartoon characters adorning our homes (or at least not our bathrooms), all we really want is simple colors and clean lines — just like in this 3-in-1 Dot Pot!
The Dot Pot is found across Europe and after a bit of Google-Fu, we discovered it retails for about $75US. This pot starts out as a potty training chair and transforms into a stool once your child has learned to use other toilets in the home.
The bottom of the bucket is covered in thick rubber grippers which hold the pot in place during use and become a great foot hold when used as a stool. It's available in several different trim colors and you can find a list of retailers (many of which ship to the US) over at the Levier Group. Plus you can see a few more shots of the pot and its parts over at Varpunen (careful, baby cuteness to follow).

this potty IS great - but $75?!? i bought a very similar potty (also with the 3-in-one option: potty/seat/stool) at babies-r-us 3 years ago and paid $25 for it. besides - do we really need a "great looking" potty?
It really looks like the inner potty will have issues with leaking into the bigger pot. I see lots of splashing out of the bowl when carried by a kid. The handle just begs to be carried around the house by a kid once used. Once they use the toilet, I want the potty out of the house not an undersized step stool. Stylish looking, though.
I still think the Bjorn is the best. The less movable parts, the less there is to clean. By the time they are ready for a stool, you will probably want something else anyway....
I agree - bjorn rules the roost and a $75 potty is madness. Madness I tell you!
$75 for something your child will poop on and probably not even like? Really? Really??
IKEA sells some very simple and plain potties similar to the Bjorn (same style) that come in different colors and have wide, stable bases (won't tip easily.) They are about $4 each. I bought a bunch of them when I first started potty training and had them EVERYWHERE in the house and backyard so there was always a place to 'to go'. $75 is really a little steep for something that you will be more than happy to get rid of as soon as they can go in the big throne! I agree with 'nectarsquarespace' too, the handle will be a problem! Slosh, slosh goes the pee around the house!! :)
Uh, the Bjorn potty is only $25, looks cute, AND has a high wee-wee blocker in the front. I also agree with others- the last thing I need is for my 2 year old to be carrying around a bucket of poop. The designer of this potty must not have kids.
