Although many of us think our kitchens are small, at least they're still attached to our house. In this case of this jungle home, the kitchen has been detached and is now a 6'x6' structure made from reclaimed materials that extends 12 feet up into the trees.
The material for this kitchen came from a local sugar mill who used large sheets of metal and then discarded these unusual shapes after they'd punched out the pieces they needed. Then this homeowner put them to use as the walls of an outdoor kitchen.
There are no frills or fancy things in this space (like a full size refrigerator), but it's still one of the coolest small space kitchens we've ever laid eyes on! Take the full tour of the creation over at Dwell.
