It's too bad that this Amana Jot refrigerator looks like it's being phased out from their line of fridges. The idea of coating a fridge with dry erase seems like a perfect solution for a common practice, as many of us use the fridge not only to keep out produce fresh, but also as a household schedule and message board...
You can still find the 18 cubic feet Amana Jot at some online retailers, between $529-$649; besides the dry erase option, it's basically your standard fridge. But if you're looking for a DIY option, you can convert all or part of your existing fridge using dry erase paint. There are a couple of brands to choose from, and these will give you an option to paint just a section of your fridge for dry erase use without having to purchase a whole new fridge.

funny, makes me think of the website Miranda July did where she wrote on a fridge like a dry erase board... then later the stove because it was easier to erase.

witchbaby: I loved that Miranda July site...and thought it was funny she used the stove.
Anyone have a source for that pink stool?
I love it!
I wish I was brave enough to paint that much of my home in one bold color. I think it's beautiful!
