We wouldn't expect anything less from LiEr at Ikat Bag, but will you get a load of this adorable cardboard Barbie house? I can't believe it's taken me two years to find it! I never had a Barbie Dream House growing up, and I never would've wanted one had I known you could construct your own, multi-story Barbie home from cardboard.
This project is a perfect example of how handmade far outstrips store-bought. LiEr included so many incredible details in her house, including both stairs and an elevator (!!!), mid-century modern lighting fixtures made from plastic Easter eggs, vellum wall sconces, and my favorite, the delicately drawn front gate.
There are many, many other fantastic details, and LiEr shows you how to make everything in easy-to-follow tutorials. As she did, get your kids involved (especially for the busy work like coloring in all the black "tiles" for the patio) and they will love the creation even more.
