The description that CB2 has on their site about these Beaker glasses recalls memories of idyllic summer days complete with lemonade stands. However, when we saw these glasses, the first thing we thought of was our own idyllic college days complete with weekend marathons of beer pong.
Regardless of what nostalgic memories these glasses may inspire, we still like 'em. They're made similarly to how chemistry beakers are made (hence the name), and are stackable.
Available in 2 different sizes at CB2.

Wow. I like 'em. But you're right: they look more like Solo cups.
I have these...I just couldn't resist the whimsy, and I heart borosilicate glass.
They're SUPER fragile! One of mine imploded in the dishwasher for no apparent reason. Plus the effect is so convincing that I have a hard time remembering not to treat them like plastic!
A glass that looks like a cheap plastic cup?
I'll pass...
super fragile glass made to look like plastic? no thanks.
They are pretty in person, though - especially for puddings and soft desserts like chocolate mousse and panna cotta.
It's fun to put supposedly sophisticated desserts like those into ironically low-brow cups like these.
Anyone else find them too small for anything but a cocktail? As with several things from CB2, the scale is a bit off- for me at least. Mine are now happily succulent pots on the kitchen window sill.
Faith, yes! Sense of humor anyone?
I also agree on the too small point. I would find them more useful if they were larger. Mine are in the bar cabinet on full-time cocktail duty.
I think I prefer my light-as-air glassware to look more delicate and to be, well, classier. I'll stick to my stemless wineglasses, thanks.
