Wristlets: For the Fashionable, Traveling Smartphone User

While traveling recently, I ran into the problem of securing my phone while biking or out on a boat. I normally bring a wristlet, which is like a large coin purse that you can conveniently wear on your wrist. Little did I know, there are a bunch of wristlets out there that have specific pockets for your smart phone, and here are a few I've been considering.

Rain Cloud iPhone Wallet ($30.40): We like this rain cloud inspired hand-stitched wristlet made with recycled leather and Swarovski crystals. There's a zipper where you can keep loose change and a handy pocket to hold your phone.

Bodhi Wristlet ($49): Bodhi's wristlet comes in bright pink, red or silver. The strap is detachable so you can use it as a wallet or a wristlet, and the iPhone sleeve is open so you can still use your phone when it's inside the wristlet.

Larabee Wristlet ($69.95): What girl doesn't like fine goods from Kate Spade? Sold exclusively by Apple, this playful wristlet also has a built-in iPhone case for you to slip your phone into. It has card slots for your other essentials like credit cards and cash and secures everything in place with a snap closure. It's compatible with the iPhone 3GS or 4.

Michael Kors Wallet Clutch ($79.95): This clutch by Michael Kors has an iPhone case built into it, so you just slip your iPhone straight into the wristlet. When shut, the clutch looks like a chic pocketbook and comes in 3 different colors. All the clutches are leather.

Capulet London iPhone Wristlet ($225): I wouldn't drop over $200 specifically for an iPhone wristlet, but if you're looking for a nice clutch to begin with, Capulet London's wristlet is a good one to consider because it combines leather craftsmanship with pockets designed specifically to hold an iPhone 4 or 4S. Each wristlet is made with fine calf leather. I'm really in love with the one in red.
