One strategy for small space living is incorporating multi-functional pieces of furniture: enter the Bookinist. The birch-plywood Bookinist is a rolling chair designed for (you guessed it) reading. It features storage for up to 80 paperbacks, and has hidden compartments for everything you might need—reading-glasses, bookmarks, pencils, a sharpener and a pocketbook, all of which are included— to pass the day in leisure.
Designed by Nils Holger Moormann, we're having trouble finding purchasing information for this. Doesn't look particularly comfortable, so we can't really imagine sitting in it for hours on end, but we think it looks cool. Perhaps the concept could be a DIY for a particularly handy person?

I love multi-function objects like this, but I have to agree--this does not look pleasant to read in at all.
Put a big, fat cushion in it, and maybe we'll see.
Bwa ha ha ha, I love it! Especially the lamp growing out of the arm. That is so silly and cute.
Throw some nice fat upholstery on that bad boy and hide a nice slim handle on the back for easier maneuvering, and you've got some serious potential for awesome.
