I just finished attending the last day of the Brimfield Antique Show in Massachusetts and it was quite the experience. I've read up quite a bit on the event but had no idea just how expansive it would be. The finds ranged from bizarre: a Van Gogh style clown portrait, to amazing: I spotted a 70's style couch with built in side tables…
… that was a ringer to one featured on Secrets from a Stylist.
The show also offered an abundance of the great little vintage pieces that bring life and personality into a home. A few of the standouts that were in abundance included vintage portraits, vintage fans, quirky vases and lamps and collectibles like vintage typewriters, radios and cameras. A few trends that stood out were the Industrial look, French Design and everything 70's, but there was a lot less Danish Modern than I would have expected. I'm looking forward to checking out the show again next year and will definitely be packing my best walking shoes.
