The Renovation Diaries are a collaboration with our community in which we feature your step by step renovation progress and provide monetary support towards getting it done in style. See all of our Reno Diaries here.
We've introduced you to Meg and Josh's mudroom creation project, and shared their inspiration for the remodel. They'll be tearing down a wall to unite the breakfast room and laundry room you see above, and creating built-ins to turn the laundry room in a multi-purpose mudroom. In this post, we tackle the big question: how much will it all cost?
We're on a tight budget so we're putting our DIY skills to the test and doing all of the work ourselves. Luckily, we have some helpful family members and a few friends in the building industry to lend us their ears and know-how when we need a little extra advice.
CABINETS AND COUNTERTOPS:
Cork flooring, $1000
OTHER BUILDING MATERIALS:
Beam Construction, $125
Check out the full series (so far) and be sure to join us next week as Meg and Josh get started on their renovation.
