Feline lovers, get ready for some pie-in-the-sky dreams come true: The Cats’ House designed by Japanese architecture firm Fauna+DeSIGN is dizzying in the amount of playful, yet tastefully designed, details created to amuse 16 very fortunate felines. Rounded corners throughout, bookcase steps, tunnels, skylights, ceiling catwalks and a floor to ceiling scratching post make this possibly the coolest pet-centric home we've ever seen.
Check out the full details (but in Japanese) over at The Cats' House website.

Absolutely amazing!! I love how bright it feels and tastefully designed. Can I live there please?
so cool. Makes me want to be a kitty for a day....or two
Good thing it is hardwood, because there has to be a lot of hair for 16 cats.
I think this is based off the American book "The Cats' House" by Bob Walker in California. He and his wife created an amazing and colorful house for their cats.

LOVE IT! but then, i've already talked to a contractor about building in some very cat-friendly additions to my house.
LOVE IT!
SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!
I would buy this house is a second!!! :]
Where are all the litter boxes?
I'd be so nervous about overhead catfights. Imagine sipping your tea and suddenly a scrabble breaks out and a cat comes flailing down into the eggs? I'd try and make sure the whole floor was trampolines.
Wow. I thought my apartment was cat friendly, but this place is kitty heaven.
Search for the torrent "Discovery The Ultimate Guide House Cats". Check out the house in there. :)
dream house for cats indeed!
Love those glass tunnels. Still wondering... how do they handle the litter boxes?
i love this!!!
If I were a cat, I would like to live here :)
Are these cats tolerant of people? They obviously have the advantage. I would keep them happy and well fed.
