Based out of Portland, YOLO Colorhouse produces zero-VOC paints in gorgeous colors and are probably best known for their Earth's Hues, a collection of 49 colors in categories such as "water", "clay" and "air". For those of you looking for more vibrant options, their new palette, The Color of Hope, is definitely worth checking out.

This collection consists of 36 different colors and are organized into six categories including "thrive", "nourish", and "imagine". In addition to producing a zero-VOC product, YOLO Colorhouse uses 100% recycled plastic containers, 100% post-consumer waste labels with soy based inks, and bio-diesel and rail shipping to reduce embodied energy.
