The Company Store might not be the most fashionable kid on the block, but it's a solid source for basic and colorful bedding at a good price.
Their frequent sales mean you can almost always find markdowns. We like their flannel sheets, simple duvets, and cotton blankets. In addition to a big bedding selection, they also carry bath stuff, furnishings, and pajamas.
The Company Store was founded in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where they continue to manufacture bedding. They've long been a catalog-based store, and they easily made the transition into online retailer. They also have an offshoot brand, Company Kids, which sells bright bedding designed especially for boys and girls.

I do not like TCS's products. I have ordered sheets, bedspreads, and duvets and returned them all.
I found that their supima cotton has a stiff hand, and the finish details on the matelesse looked low-end, like something produced for Penny's (sorry, Penny's). The screenprinting on the duvets was very low-end production as well. Maybe I didn't choose well? I would categorize them with Sears and Penny's for quality. Basic, but don't expect great details or really wonderful fabrics.
i have a comforter and feel like the quality is high. maybe depends on what you order .
I have a comforter I love and have had for years, and several sets of sheets that are horrible, and pilled quickly (like within a few weeks of use).
Their comforters, as well as their basic cotton sheets, are great (but I dislike high thread counts).
TCS is the only place I will buy comforters, and it's been that way for years. We have purchased jersey and flannel sheets from them, as well as duvet covers, pillows and a rug. All their stuff has been fine.
More recently I have had shipping problems with them. A couple of things I have just given up on and cancelled the order. So they aren't perfect, but they are pretty darn good.
I've had mixed experiences: great raw silk curtains, but sheets that lost their color in the first wash, even when I'd paid a lot for them. TCS was mostly helpful with the return process when I complained, so that's a response that puts them in my favor overall.
I just wish their designs were a little more forward, but the colors work great ...when a friend was desperate to find the perfect orange sheet he was delighted by the rec of TCS.
I have ordered their flannel sheets and been disappointed by pilliness.
I won't buy a down comforter anywhere else. Good quality and good prices.
I should have remembered that I do love their down products. Shame on me. I love their pillows.
I snagged a down comforter years ago from Company Store, and not only was the price more than reasonable, but it hasn't lost any feathers. Still as fluffy and warm as the day i got it.
And while selecting sheets can be very personal, I've found overall, their sheets are the longest lasting i've ever experienced.
They also have amazing sales, free shipping, and other perks.
