Benita of Chez Larsson has provided Apartment Therapy readers with a great deal of practical tips and inspiration for the household over the years. She has now upped the ante by spending a week making different crafts using a material most of us probably don't associate with crafting — concrete.
Panduro chose concrete and that didn't intimidate Benita one bit as she had some experience with concrete crafts already. For the challenge, Benita has already posted five of her crafts thus far and they range from bookends to outdoor table cloth weights to candle holders. If there is anything I've learned from this challenge it's that a) if you can make a mold for it, you can concrete it and b) oil that mold!
I've never worked with concrete before as a craft material, but I am intrigued. Has anyone worked with concrete before in this capacity? What are your favorite concrete craft ideas?
