Glass and metal, be it iron or steel, is a bit ironic, a case of opposites attract. Glass is all about delicacy and is easily shattered. In contrast, metals like iron and steel are all about strength and are extremely malleable. This combination of materials makes these cabinets a marriage made in heaven.

Shaw's Original Fir...
There's not a chance I would pay $400 for that tiny bath cart... It's cute, but come on!
I agree that these particular specimens are horrendously overpriced, but I do love this look. Sometimes you need a break from wood, stuff like this fills the gap.
These are really great but so impossible to find in my neck of the woods. And when they do come up, they are a fortune because they're so rare. There has to be a good DIY in this somewhere. Thanks for the great inspirations!
I have the one from Crate and Barrel, I agree it was pricey but it is a great piece. I use it for storing a pottery collection after I had a favorite piece break on my kitchen counter. Now all of my collection is secure and dust free. Note it is heavy, but well made.
Omg, can anyone tell me where I could find tile like those in the first picture: 1. Sterling 70" Tall Cabinet, $899.00 from Crate & Barrel?
@Laura Jayne the keyword you're looking for is "basketweave" tile
