This is really dumb. Who in Boston cares about or is going to buy something from Craigs List in NYC? Why get rid of the localized scavengers? How is this "expanding" coverage when the NYC list has dropped from 8 items to 3? Scavenger has gone from a post I look at every single day to one I'll never read.
I also preferred the previous setup
I have to agree. I too will no longer be checking in on scavenger (or apartment therapy for that matter) every morning.
Terrible idea.
I agree with the other commenters. I come here daily for the scavenger. It typically is a doorway to me clicking on several posts. I think I will have to take apartment therapy off my rotation. I don't want three posts from Boston and a bunch from other places. Some places in Boston are already too far away to pick things up from....
