Re: the Art Nouveau Room Divider.
Interestingly, about 10 years ago, Home Depot sold (what appears to be) an identical bi-fold door. It was sold in stain-grade pine with the glass design a printed frost treatment on the inner fold side. The door and glass are very light weight suitable for light duty. The wood panels on the lower half are not chamfered-- rather they seem to be applied luan pieces. If I remember correctly, I paid about $50-$75 dollars for it back then
good eye, roberta! that's definitely a cheap big box store bi-fold: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33503662@N06/6320364305/in/set-72157612305097164
check out the sprayed stain missing where the knob was, etc.
would you please discontinue this section i know its nice to get paid to cruise craigslist and i dont want you to lose your job but it ruins the whole idea of finding something nice....everytime i like something the next day you post it here and i the seller gets flooded with emails and my house stays empty
@jimmythekid
Heh. That's why I personally don't care that the format's changed and that it's not very easy to figure out what item is in what city. Only 1 ATer (at most) can benefit per item listed, and chances are it won't be you. I usually just look on it as a taste of what can generally be found in a region as well as a reflection of the poster's tastes.
Also, I am trying not to buy ALL THE THINGS, so am generally ok with missing out. XD
