You do realize this is almost exactly the same as the Ikea Kvartal system, right?
Haha... being Australian I feel this way ALL the time. AT features great things that are either way too expensive to ship or just not available (or, for whatever reason, sometimes two or three times the US price!). I like that the tables have turned for once!!!
Ikea Kvartal, go on Etsy for (VERY INEXPENSIVE) laser-cut professionals.
So yes, end result, is available in the US, inexpensively.
NEXT!
My sister did it even cheaper: a wire, one curtain clip at both edges of each panel, sewed a dowel into the top of each panel to keep it flat.
For real, Ikea panels and an exacto knife.
Move along.
Djluckyonline--do you have any links? I've never seen any panels cut like this on etsy. Thanks
Thanks to everyone who has mentioned Ikea Kvartal. I wasn't familiar with this and have a wide door opening I'd like to be able to hide sometimes. The Kvartal will be perfect!
Just hung the Kvartal system in our new living room. It looks fantastic, we had the option of hanging it from the wall or ceiling and we can replace the panels for little money at any time. Ikea FTW.

Well, I, for one, don't want to mess with X-acto knives for a geometric design a laser can cut more accurately -- so I'd love to have these panels in the US. I will check Etsy, though...
Seconding hinmelb's comment! For once, a product is only available in OUR part of the world! :-)
Hi Annie, Meriam here from Twenty Six Letters in Melbourne. Just wanted to say thanks for the mention and for the kind words: much appreciated, and delighted you can see the appeal of the DecoGlide.
You are right to say we are Australia based, but we certainly have no objection to shipping to the US, for those who are interested. If I could also mention that where we are different from other companies which may provide flat packed products (though I doubt any of them produce high quality laser cut wares) is that each of our orders is custom made to size and specification.
We look forward to being in the US sometime soon too! Thanks again Annie.

@ Djluckyonline - can you recommend some laser cut professionals that you mention above? i have high ceilings and need longer panels made to use as room dividers. Went on Etsy but it's a lot to research and don't know where to begin to locate someone...
