"I chose Candace Foster's Segno serving pieces as my top pick in the Apartment Therapy 2012 Designer Showcase. Lately, I've had food and food presentation on the brain, so this seemed to hit the spot. I love the playful nature of these plates, and the modular design allows the user to interact with it in endless arrangements, not only through assemblage but also by the foods they decide to place on each plate. I can see dips at the end of the "plate road" with arrows pointing them in the right direction or a larger version of this for make-your-own sandwich buffets. Also, as a native to the Philadelphia area, I'm excited to find out that Candace hails from Philly. I am proud to support a local Philadelphia designer."

"These days, I see tons of eco-friendly furnishings being designed that still look like whatever scrap material is being used, and I find that a bit of a downer. However, the 25S32E collection is the opposite of that. The design duo of KUVA have actually been able to break free from allowing the scrap material to dictate their design and instead have designed pieces that look expensive and that I want to put in my home. Bravo!"

White Enamel Four-P...
Nice concept, but the serving pieces seem a little shallow. It seems like food would very easily spill over the sides, leaving a mess around the arrangement.
@decogirl, I'd love to see her make deeper ones and larger ones, too for more substantial foods.
I think this post could use some design help to make it more clear how to see the entries. It seems like there is just a little arrow hidden in the pictures to take you to the next winner.
